Change Management
Change Management, Communication and Culture
At Medianetic , change management is not only a separate project. Everything we do can be seen as a change management project and all our consultants are trained to think and act in that way. We build involvement and commitment at every stage of every program through the use of the latest models, tools and techniques – which is why we deliver results and not recommendations.
However, clients often want support with just the ‘people side’ of a program. We have a number of product offerings that do that:-
Change Management
Full support for multi-million pound program
Change risk diagnostic, change management strategy
Change management coaching for program directors
Project and change team development
Communication
Partnership brokering, facilitation & development
External and internal stakeholder analysis and assessment
Stakeholder dialogue
Large-group facilitation and hosting
Culture
Values assessment and culture mapping
Culture change programs
We produce the results we do through integration of change principles into all the work we do. Change is almost always a rocky road, but with experience and use of the right strategy and execution, it can and does succeed. Sadly, the corporate scene is a graveyard of failed mergers, privatizations, and programs many of which could have been averted with sufficient attention to change management that is politics, culture and resistance, at the outset.
Our philosophy is one that calls for ruthless project execution coupled with treating change targets with dignity and respect. We know that people resist change for a myriad of reasons, most of which have nothing to do with logic. Understanding those reasons and working with them rather than against them, the most recalcitrant groups can be moved forward.
To our change management methodologies, we bring the newest emerging ideas in psychology, sustainability/ CSR, management science, personal development, cultural diversity, and organization development to our client services. We invest heavily each year in our own learning and product development, so our clients can expect innovation, flexibility, and challenging approaches.
Many of our methodologies were developed in the late-90s while our lead Change Management consultants were at PricewaterhouseCoopers. PwC still use many of them, but since then our thinking has moved on and our methodologies have been developed and enhanced by more recent research and experience. These methods are brought to every client assignment, but attending our three-day “Leading People through Change” program provides a basic introduction to them.
